I understand most airbnbs flex their prices for summer/ Christmas ‘peak’ times as well as vary them throughout the year. As such, i do think this place was very expensive given overall cost vs other very comparable/ almost identical places I’ve stayed in (for £180/ £190 a night). Also compared to top hotels for price (especially when all extra fees are added). I would think there are other times to book this airbnb that would be cheaper (perhaps for a reduced price if quiet or special rates).
Andreea was however, very accommodating to get me booked for another last min extra night and very kindly wavered the cleaning fee (as id already paid it but due to my booking timing out, i had to rebook as though it was a new stay). That was much appreciated!
Overall would stay again.

(I highly recommend Reformation and Aime for shopping, as well as Ottolenghi and Granger & Co. for dining!) Andreea was responsive and equipped the flat with everything we needed for a weeklong stay, down to the dishwasher pods and recycling bags. Thanks for the great stay!

It does mention the school in Andreea's description, however, we were not prepared for the level of noise it was producing. I think we got unlucky with timings as well, as it was getting close to end of term, so kids were outside constantly (8 am - 3 pm). My elderly parents could not sleep in the noise, so we had to move out earlier.
In addition to the school children, there is also what I can best describe a nuisance of a family next door. Every adult and child there can't talk, but rather scream at each other.
I could hear them in the morning while talking on the phone with my family, like they are in my living room.
so not for light sleepers.

There is a noticeable... read more odor masked by cleaning products which does not smell pleasant. When I went to open the windows to try and air it out - there are spider webs in the window sill. There are also spider webs in the bathroom ceilings as well (top left corner) that I noticed while getting ready. The tea kettle has white crust which I was told is from the water in london but why has it not been cleaned properly. I went to use the scissors and even they have gunk all over them. Everything is very worn and dirty to me. The front of the home and entry is extremely unkept. This home is probably the most unkept on the block. They said it is due to management. I wish I could upload pics bc if someone else had done this I would not have rented here.. Lastly, there are 2 signs on the front door before you exit stating BEWARE OF THIEF FOUND IN HOUSE.

And, if you are lucky, you might be greeted by a beautiful and friendly neighborhood cat.
The flat was not quite as roomy as we interpreted from the photos, but everything was accurately depicted otherwise and very well maintained. Definitely much more space than you will find at a similar price point in a London hotel! My husband and I are both quite tall, so we appreciated the high ceilings (and grew to not so much appreciate the low-low ceiling as you descend the stairs into the bedroom - ouch)
The finishes and appointments throughout the flat give it a luxurious feel, from the heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom, to the crown molding, recessed lighting, and modern appliances. We will be back again!

The bed was super comfortable and quiet. It has a lovely patio off the bedroom unfortunately we were unable to use it as it was raining and cool. Andrea also connected us with Alex for airport transfers which was really great. St John’s Wood high street is a great neighbourhood with restaurants, boutiques, grocery stores and coffee shops. If you like baths you will love the bath tub but word of caution for people who prefer showers you have to kneel to take a shower. The neighbours above have a child that was noisy for a couple of hours in the evening. But most of the time we were out so it wasn’t too bad. We loved our stay and if we are back in London we would definitely stay here again.

Andreea and her colleague are very proactive and responsive, for example when I arrived the heating was off and they immediately gave me instructions how to reset the boiler.
The only points I would make is there aren’t really blackout blinds in the bedroom so not super dark and I really didn’t like the lack of stand up shower, the bath is quite precarious but that’s just my taste, it works fine. Also you hear the neighbours and the school out the back if one would care about that.
